Please
join the California Association of Winegrape Growers Foundation for
their 2nd Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament. The scholarship is
specifically for the children whose parent/guardian is employed by a CA
winegrape grower.We
are very exited to get back out there and hold this in-person event on
Thursday, June 10, at Woodbridge Golf and Country Club, located in
Lodi.
The
tournament will begin at 9 AM, with registration, the practice range,
and a putting contest, and then a 10 AM shotgun start. We will be
playing a four person scramble. The day will consist of fun and games, a
hole in one contest, and an awards reception with prizes, drinks and
hors d'oeuvres.

& Country Club is located in the heart of Lodi’s wine country and
the valley’s finest wineries. The golf course features 27 distinctive
holes on its three championship course. Woodbridge is the club of choice

About
the CAWG Foundation:
The CAWG Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit
corporation. Each year the foundation typically awards three $8,000
four-year scholarships to students planning to attend a campus in the
University of California or California State University system, and
three $2,000 two-year scholarships to students planning to attend a
California community college. Scholarships are awarded to high school
seniors whose parent or legal guardian is employed by a California
winegrape grower. The Robert Miller Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a
student who resides on the Central Coast and plans to major in enology
or viticulture at Allan Hancock College or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. The
foundation awards at least seven scholarships each year.
