  • Buy-in and assistance from winegrower organizations and major wineries, e.g., Mondavi, Fetzer, Canandaigua, Bronco, and E&J Gallo
  • Partnerships with DPR, EPA, UCCE, UC-SAREP, CURES/STF, agriculture commissioner's offices, winegrowers, PCAs, and wineries
  • 35 grower-cooperators recruited (target was 20) - North Coast (6), Central Coast (6), South Coast (2), Northern Interior (9), South Central Valley (12)
  • 14 field days/workshops totaling 979 attendees have been held for growers and PCAs (original target was 10 field events)
  • 15 formal presentations (no field component) made to agricultural community (mostly growers and PCAs)
  • 6 articles in trade magazines
  • 7+ newsletter and 8+ web site publications
  • 1 poster
  • 2 field events held for the general public
  • 2 newspaper articles and 2 radio interviews

  • Continued buy-in and assistance from grower organizations and major wineries, e.g., Bronco, Canandaigua, Domaine Chandon, E & J Gallo, Fetzer, Kendall-Jackson, and Robert Mondavi
  • Continued partnerships with DPR, EPA, USDA, UC Cooperative Extension, UC Sustainable Agriculture and Education Program, Sulfur Task Force, agriculture commissioner's offices, county farm bureaus, growers and grower organizations, PCAs, and wineries
  • 36 grower-cooperators retained or recruited (target was 30) - North Coast (8), Central Coast (5), South Coast (2), Northern Interior (9), South Central Valley (12)
  • 19 field events - 5 for growers and PCAs totaling 363 attendees, 2 for foremen and workers totaling 34 attendees, and 12 for the general public totaling 350 attendees (total field event target was 10)
  • 9 non-field events - 1 for growers and PCAs totaling 27 attendees, 7 for foremen and workers totaling 1124 attendees, and 1 for the general public totaling 5 attendees
  • 13 outside presentations made to agricultural community
  • 5 articles in trade magazines and professional society proceedings
  • 10+ newsletter and 9+ web site publications
  • 7 handouts/instructor guides, 7 power point presentations, and 1 newspaper article
